I did! Now "Everyday can be Your Lucky Friday the 13th if you're (un)Lucky & Supertitious Enough" is out now!

Woohoo and Phew!

I am honestly relieved! Happy, tired, exhausted, and especially relieved!

Now my first Itch.io Game Jam is over!  I managed to make my Friday the 13th: Superstitions -themed TTRPG published on the time limit of the Jam! I did the whole fanzine-styled horror action RPG from the scratch in under 30 hours.

Friday the 13th Game Jam

Friday the 13th Game Jam

I am glad I was able to submit the game to the Jam and use the jam's theme(s) and diversifications on the game. It was quite an experience, making the game solo, and making it remotely, when the Jam was located in Florida, USA. I happen to live in Tampere, Suomi - Finland. We are a bit in a different time zone. Still managed to join the jam, be an active member of the jam, make the game on my own, and submit in time. Also had a whole lotta fun, while at it.

Friday the 13th Jam's theme is Superstition

Gotta mention also, that I have to thank some lovely people, that helped me, in one way or in another, during the jam. Thanks, Jouna for the help with some paperwork things so I could start publishing in itch.io, thanks for carrying some food and lemonade to me. Thanks for the encouragement and the comments for Oswald. Thanks for being in the spirit with me, Minna da Killah Raptor. Big thanks for the cheering in Discord, Mr. Darn'Tooting. Big Cheers for the cheering, for Dicey Guy, Robbie, and other nice Dicey-group peeps...

In the picture above is my Survival Package for the Friday the 13th Game Jam. Some vegan protein pudding and vegan yogurt, Monster drink, Pepsi Max, Mountain Dew, some kebab, chicken sausages, gluten-free bread, Friday the 13th playing cards, papers, tape, glue, machete, paper clippings, etc...

As You can see, I got my food and drinks sorted out. My source of inspiration, too, is in its place... Also, woolen glittery socks were the right choice for footwear for the jamming session.

The image for the cover

I made a scratch collage art, put some dice on it, and took a photo of it. The cover picture was born...

There were some fun moments but there were also some panicky moments, nervous moments, and a whole lotta this and that. I still did manage to make my simplistic and parodic horror action tabletop & paper & pen roleplaying game and submitted it in time. Just under the 30 hours. I will work on the game some more in the near future. It totally works just like that, but I think, there are more things that I could put on the published pages of the games.

Thanks for reading...
